If the mast is standing when your boat is Surveyed, the Mast and Rig can only be inspected up to eye level.

We do not go aloft to inspect the things that are holding us up.

 

Insurance Companies may require a Mast and Rig Inspection to be included with the Survey.

Please speak with your Insurance Agent prior to booking to be sure.

Insurance Companies may not cover some types of damage.

With Keel Stepped Masts, water can enter the vessel through the Mast and this can set a Freeze/Thaw

cycle in the Mast Step and/or Bilge areas. This has the potential do cause some Damage.
